If you love, I will love, run, I will run , - - - 'Til my last breath, so take it all, I doubt we'll notice .
Bryce took one last look around the tent that he'd come to call home for the last several weeks. He'd lost count, quite honestly, but he always knew what day it was because he kept an eye open for his mail. His brother wrote to him often, which was nice and thoughtful of him, but it was really Zelodide's writing that he was always excited about reading. Sometimes it was silly what their conversations consisted of, but they did get to learn new things about each other. He couldn't remember how many times he started to get really homesick, so he'd just pull out one of her letters and read it again, making him smile and feel better in the process. It was pretty amazing how one person could change your whole life, even with the distance between them. He didn't pack up alot of his things, not wanting to seem suspicious, since someone else was coming back in his place: his twin brother, Adam. He wasn't sure why he was so headset on coming out here, but he assured him that he didn't have anything left to lose, except for each other. He wasn't sure how he was going to thank Adam for this, since he was going home to finally tell Zelodide what was on his mind, but he'd think of something, he was sure. He made his way outside with his platoon, before getting into the back of the humvee, closing his eyes slightly as the dirt picked up once they were on the road.
He knew that this was a result of a charity event and it would be the perfect timing for him to make the switch with his brother. They were of equal stature and weigh, both easy on the eyes as well, but Adam had a sharper tongue. He just hoped that he didn't blow their cover, otherwise they'd both be in some major trouble. But even as kids, it was hard for people to tell them apart. They were identical, except that Adam had a birthmark on his neck. He bragged that it was this big wound during a motorcycle stunt, but Bryce knew better. He was born with it. He smiled lightly at the other soldiers, most of whom were chatting it up. It had been a long time since he'd seen most of these people look this happy. He could feel it from within, tugging on his heart in his chest at the thought of being back home. Of course, that also came with a catch: they had to take an airplane. Now, Bryce wasn't afraid of alot of things, but he wasn't a big fan of planes. There were just way too many accidents on those things, in his opinion. He grimaced just at the thought.
His knuckles were white by the time Bryce got off the plane from holding on to the handrests at the sides of the seats. They were pretty comfortable and all, but he still couldn't stand flying. On the way, he noticed a young couple holding hands and he smiled, finding himself glancing down at his own hand. How well would hers fit into his? It was a tough question, since they'd only gone out on a couple of dates and he never really touched her apart from maybe her shoulder during a fit of laughter of something like that. It was innocent. As he practically rushed off of the plane, he checked out his bag (which only had his mp3 player and some gum, as well as Zelodide's letters), before walking out through the terminal. It wasn't long before he embraced his brother, who gave him a strong hug, patting his back as they greeted each other like any brothers would--Bryce smacked him in the back of the head in anticipation--before they headed out to the car. "So, what do you want to do?" Adam asked him with a knowing grin, keeping his eyes on the road as he headed towards Zelodide's street. "I have a girl to see," Bryce replied with a bright smile, his bright green eyes appearing to have a new light in them as he glanced out through the car window and watched the trees and scenery fly by.
When Adam pulled up to Zelodide's curb, Bryce didn't really wait for Adam to stop the car before he grabbed his bag and practically ran up the small pavement to the door. Once he was there, he wasn't sure why he was out of breath. After all, he had been in training and he had really good endurance. It must be because he was nervous. He was wearing a white shirt with a black tie, along with a dark green suit coat and some khaki slacks. He rubbed his palms against his pants before clearing his throat, taking one step forward with his hand curled up into a fist, but he didn't bring it down to knock. He messed with his bottom lip, trying to think of everything that he would say as he stared back at the wooden door, before taking in a deep breath and then finally knocking. It was light, but not too light that she wouldn't hear him. He then crossed his hands before him, licking his suddenly dry lips as he stood there. He had seen alot of things out on the battlefield, but he had never been as nervous or excited as he was right now, right in this instant. They hadn't seen each other in what seemed like ages. Did she still look the same as in the pictures? He hadn't written to her in a while, but only because he knew that he was coming and the mail was getting harder and harder to track. He didn't want someone accidently reading it and blowing his cover. So he just stood there, waiting to see the woman of his dreams, both at night and during the day, the anticipation making him hum an old rock tune gently as the sunlight bathed over his tall stature. zelodide sat down on her couch. a frown on her face and her eyes on the television. she didn't know why bryce had stopped writing, but she has not been completely happy with herself since his last. he didn't know it but he was what kept her going. the reason she wasn't as depressed as she could be. she didn't stop writing him, she was still writing him silly things, and stuff about herself. still, she was sending him pictures. she was unaware if he would ever receive the though. this was not like bryce, ignoring her letters, so something had to be up. this just made her worry, and she couldn't enjoy her days anymore. she sat back on the couch watching one of he soap operas. she did not know why she enjoyed them so much. especially cause they just reminded her of all the crap going on in her life. maybe it was just good to see what other people went through, and how they handled it, even if they were acting. television could provide some sort of entertainment for her when needed. if the show was really good she'd drift away from her thoughts. what she really wanted to do was curl up in a ball somewhere and just cry. she was dressed in this outfit only because today she was going to hang out with a friend, or she was suppose to. the girl hadn't called back yet. so it looked like she was i it alone this saturday morning. she had dressed up for nothing. zelodide was aware that he may not have been writing back starting with the charity event she and a lot of worried dermont citizens and university students came up with. enough money t pay for most of the dermont soldiers to spend a weekend at home. so....maybe he was here already? and he didn't receive her like, last five letters?
she walked into her bathroom and started to play with her hair, but of course the style she ended up with was usually the same, the same bang and still straight and long. her brown hair fell on her shoulders as she store at herself in the mirror. this didn't feel right, she didn't look right with this cold on. so she took the coat off, and hung it up, her winter (sweater) - like dress revealed as she took out bryce's black jacket and put it on. something about it just made her feel warm inside. it made her feel good. what else made her feel good was the fact that she confronted dominic. even though she didn't get a lot out of the jerk she still confronted him, he knew her hate for him. plus, the fact that she embarrassed him was good enough. she'd never give up on bryce, whoever hurt him hurt her. she wouldn't tell him that though, that would sound creepy for the two being "just friends" sometimes she wish she had the guts to write to him 'i'm totally in love with you bryce turner'. but things just weren't easy like that. she was pretty shy when it came down to things like that. she right hand down her left arm, admiring the material of the black jacket she had on her with her fingertips. licking her lips lightly her frown then turned into a smile, remembering all the funny things she and bryce would write back and forth to each other.
zel missed him so much, even more when the letters stopped coming. she'd worry, and then worry some more. she couldn't handle things like that, not knowing what was going on, or what could be going on. for all she knew his flight home could have been a mess. would he call her before he got here? or would he surprise her? would he even show up? she just felt like her feelings for him were stronger than his feelings for her, simply because she didn't know what he felt completely. she could remember seeing the mail man all of last week and asking him, "anything for me." he'd give her a few things, but they were nothing from bryce, just regular things people received in the mail. she was mixed up in a bunch of drama as well, she had slapped her ex boyfriend because he busted into her house after their long IM argument, well it was sort of short. they had nothing nice to say to each other, then she was pretty sure dominic had the outs for her. she walked back into her living room, taking a seat, she hadn't made breakfast yet, in fact she thought she'd be going out to eat with her friend. but apparently not. she had recieved a so sorry, i cant go today, i have to handle something. text message and she just rolled her eyes. she didnt' feel that type of 'special' she had felt before. she replied, simply telling her friend it was all okay. it wasn't, it wasn't okay for zel to be this lonely. but she'd allowed herself too. she only had eyes for one man...
zelodide heard the knock on the door, her head had turned towards the direction of her door. she lived in a penthouse alone, so it got pretty lonely. plus she usually went out to see other people, she barely had any visitors. she didn't even think about it being bryce, she just got up and walked towards the door. opening it slowly her eyes store at the man in front of her in shock. it couldn't be? could it. she smiled, not knowing how to act. this could be adam, for crying out loud. she observed the side of bryce's neck, the side were adam would have his birthmark. she smiled, no birthmark. "bryce!" she yelled, almost screamed in happiness. it's like she forgot about all of her dark thoughts. she just jumped into his arms, straddling him, holding onto him. the smiled staying on her face. she smiled, looking into his eyes after she finished hugging him, but she didn't let herself down form his arms. oh, he had looked so handsome. "its really you.." she smiled "oh.." she said in excitement, kissing his cheek, then his forehead, then his other cheek, then his chin. she had failed to realize it until now. they weren't a couple, "i've missed you so much," she whispered into his ear. she knew they weren't a couple but she couldn't take back all of those kisses. she placed her hands on his shoulders and let herself down. looking up at him she placed her hands on her hips. " um-" she said nervously. "come in, come in." she said, taking his hands in hers and leading him inside, kicking the door shut behind him. "hi.." she finally said, her voice shaky a little. she could burst into tears at any moment, buts he wouldn't allow herself too. what would he think, if she did? he had still looked the same, only he looked a little older because of his new facial hair and everything. she was nervous, she just hoped he didn't see her hands shaking, and he couldn't tell by her voice.

If you love, I will love, run, I will run , - - - 'Til my last breath, so take it all, I doubt we'll notice .
Bryce wasn't sure how long he was waiting at the door, but it seemed like forever. He was starting to wonder if she'd be angry at him for not writing, or if she would ever forgive him for leaving, even if it wasn't his fault. He had been drafted, it wasn't his choice, but he still threw the guilt and responsibility on himself, because that was the type of person that he was. He turned his head to see Adam wave at him from the road, waving back as he checked his pocket to make sure that his phone was there, even if he didn't think that he would be able to leave here anytime soon. He had been away for so long that he secretly wanted to stay up all night talking to her, catching up on her life and how she had fared without him. It didn't matter if he ended up sleeping on the couch, he just didn't want to leave. The eldest Turner twin just hoped that she would let him in. He had already decided to keep some of the more gruesome things from the war to himself, since she had been spared from bloodshed and shouldn't have to deal with that, but he wouldn't hide the fact that he still had every single letter, even the ones that he didn't reply to. He felt his pocket vibrate and flipped the phone open to read a text from Adam that read, 'the good guys always get the girl,' which made Bryce smile because it was an inside joke between the two.
When the door opened, he stared back at the young woman that he had been wanting to see for what seemed like an eternity. She still looked as beautiful as ever. He was right, she did rock that jacket alot better than he did, and it made him grin proudly to see her wearing something of his. Still, he was in a bit of shock that she was actually cooped up in here and not out somewhere. He would have waited. Minutes, hours, days, rain or shine. He would have waited forever for Zelodide to open up her door to him. His green eyes noticed her pair examining his neck and at first he felt a little self-conscious, but then he realized that she was just making sure that he wasn't Adam. "Zelodide!" he finally spoke with a laugh leaving his lips as she pounced into his arms, his arms wrapping around her waist instantly to keep her from falling. The way that she said his name made him feel all warm inside, even if it was the same name that he'd always had. Everything just felt different when they came from her. They felt special. He hugged her back tightly, closing his eyes briefly to take in her scent, before opening them when she pulled away just enough to look at him. The small distance between them almost made him want to kiss her, right then and there. He wanted to show her how he felt, since he wasn't so good with words. But at least he was happy that she was glad to see him. Very glad. He knew he was ecstatic.
Bryce nodded with a brilliant, pearly white smile as he stared back at Zelodide, listening to her speak. He missed her voice. In fact, he missed everything about her. The way she smiled, the way she smelled, the way she made a man feel weak at the knees with just a look. Did she have any idea how gorgeous she was? Because he knew. He knew from the very first day that he wanted to be with her, but not just a one night thing. Not a meaningless makeout session in the back of a club. Not a fleeting look and then they never see each other again. No, they'd gone out on a few dates, and the last one was supposed to be one that he'd never forget, but not for the way that it had turned out. "Yeah, I'm here... I'm right here," he said softly, before feeling her lips on his flesh, kissing him all over his face. He couldn't stop smiling. This had to be the best day of his life. Everywhere that her lips touched, they left behind an invisible mark, as if she had claimed his skin forever. No one else would be able to kiss him the same way, or cause the same reaction. If this wasn't love, it was strong enough to kill him, or to bring him back from the dead. It was the stuff from the movies, but even better, because the movie never ended. It was just him and her. The soldier boy and the girl back home wearing his jacket. Romeo and Juliet redefined, without the bad ending.
"I missed you too, I'm so glad you're home," he replied with a nod, his eyes softening as he felt her whisper against his ear, tickling him a bit with her light breathing. He didn't really notice that she was in his arms, or rather, that she wasn't supposed to be there. He was just so happy at the moment that it felt like he was high, but a good high. He felt like he could do anything right now. When she got down, he almost frowned, but she was still close. He didn't want to lose sight of her for a second. If this was a dream, he didn't want to wake up. "Thanks," he said with a small chuckle out of nervousness, knowing that they were both feeling the same way. Or maybe he was just hoping. It felt like someone had just released dinosaurs in his stomach, forget butterflies. He felt her grab his hand and noticed how well it fit in his, before looking back up at her. She was so adorable. She didn't have to try anymore. "Hey," he said as he reached out to touch her face, smoothing some strands of hair behind her ear, before letting it fall back to his side. Okay, so she was real. This was really happening. "How are you? I mean, it's been a while... you look great. And umm, I'm really sorry about not writing back to you. It's been on my mind the whole trip here and I feel really bad, but they started monitoring our letters and I didn't want to get caught. But I'm sorry, I should have found a way to tell you... forgive me?" He then pouted slightly, hoping that he was still the master pouter as he had stated in one of his letters to her. zelodide didnt think this was real, nope, it couldn't be. could it? she was in his arms, the arms she was dying to be in for the last several weeks. he was holding her, and this just felt amazing. hah, if it were possible she'd hold onto him for three weeks like they had teased each other in the letters. she wanted to stay in his arms, to never let her go. she blinked so hardly when she hugged him, thinking that this was a dream. however, when she opened her eyes he was still there, still holding onto her. plus, the way he said her name. she felt like he could feel how fast her heart was beating, could he? they were hugging for a pretty long tie so he wouldn't be surprised if he could. this was amazing, she didn't think things like this could really happen. these were the type of thing's that you saw in the movies. than god for this charity event, his brother would have a weekend to get ready to switch places with bryce and she would be able to spend more time with bryce. she was in love with him, so of course that's what she wanted. she just hoped that adam would be okay. adam was one of her hero's, honestly, anyone that would do that for their family members was a hero to her. she smiled, looking into his light green eyes. their faces not to far apart from the others. she just felt like running her fingers through his hair and kissing him right then and there, then boom. reality hit her. they weren't a couple, he had never asked her out. she had never asked him out..they were just friends, the dating type of friends.
she smiled when he mentioned that he was here. that felt so good to hear. not to long ago he had always been so far away. just so far away, and now he was physically here. the way he said it to, it sent chills up and down her spine. " this is amazing." she had told him, in a quiet tone, not whispering anymore. "seriously, i cant stop smiling now." she said, after she had kissed him all over his face. she giggled at the cheesy smile he had played out on his face. it felt good, kissing him, period. "me too." she had said, she was glad she was home. like all of this was fate or something. like her friend had canceled just so she could be here, reunited with the man she loved, and would always love. this was the type of things people saw in fairy tales, only it wasn't. this was the real thing, right here. no one could compare to this. that's when she had snapped back to reality and had set herself down. she noticed the change of expression in his face...hmmm, so he didn't mind. hah, that did make her smile grow even bigger. she had then lead him into her house then kicked the door shut behind him, not for one second taking her eyes off of him. she felt like if she did she could possibly lose him again. she lead him further into her place, then when she stopped, had let go of his hands.
zel smirked when he replied to her 'hi' with his 'hey'. before zelodide could say anything else he started to talk and talk. "good." she smiled, replying to his 'how are you' question. she giggled, flattered, when he told her she looked great. "you too, you look so -" she said but then he started to apologize, she nodded along with apology. "bryce,..bryce!" she said, laughing a little. like she had said, actions spoke louder than words. so she was about to do something, something crazy. well, to her. she had been so shy with her feelings towards him, so for her to even be doing this was crazy. she grabbed on to his shirt and pulled him closer, pressing her lips against his softly, she then stepped closer, their bodied against once another, and she wrapped her arms around him. her lips felt so good pressed against his soft ones, and she didn't want to stop kissing him. it's like she could go on forever. this was one of the things she's wanted to share with him since she first met him, 'a kiss'. this was real, this was really happening, and she wanted it to. she wasn't ashamed, she never got the chance to tell him how she felt that night, and now she could. she was going to take full advantage of this. she broken off the kiss, breathing in the needed air she had been introduced to. "you talk way to much for your own good." she told him, smiling at him. holding onto his hands, taking them into hers.
zel looked into his green eyes, never looking away. she could feel it, his hands fit in hers perfectly. bryce was 'the one' for her. she had never felt so special, so great, so wonderful. Bryce was an amazing guy, and like she said, it would take a lot for him to anger her. she didn't want to be mad at him, she just wanted to kiss him, and tell him to never let her go. " -..besides." she added in. "who can resist your pouts." she smirked, waiting for his reaction. what would he do, would he laugh this off. or would he take this serious. she had just showed him her true feelings for him, and she didn't have to say anything. she kept her hands in his, squeezing his hand lightly. she felt like, now that he was here, they had a chance. she had a chance to make this work. this was exactly what she had been waiting for. that kiss right there was worth the wait alone. anything was worth a kiss like that, she couldn't stop thinking about him. did i really just kiss him? she asked herself, the same smile played out on her face. so this was the beginning of their story. all started here, this wasn't the end of anything. they wouldn't have an ending. zelryce was forever. she sort of believed the feeling she had for him were mutual. she could feel it in her soul. it had to be, things just didn't feel that amazing if love wasn't 100 percent, and not fifty. plus, if she didn't love him she wouldn't of wasted her time writing to him when she received nothing. she wouldn't be this happy right now.

If you love, I will love, run, I will run , - - - 'Til my last breath, so take it all, I doubt we'll notice .
Bryce had been counting down the days before he was able to see her face again. He didn't know how people did the long distance relationship thing, but then again, they were only friends, right? Still, he couldn't help but miss her, whatever they were. Sometimes when people spoke and a certain word sounded like her name, he'd look up with a hopeful look in his eyes, but he always came out disappointed in the end. Well, not today. Now he was holding her in his arms, just like he promised he would, and he knew that no matter what happened from here on out, he would always remember this moment. His heart was going too fast and beating too loudly in his ears to notice hers, but Bryce didn't seem to mind. He almost wished that he had a camera around to capture this moment. He was grateful for this charity event, because otherwise it would be near to impossible to go through with his twin swap plan. He just hoped that it didn't seem selfish of him to accept Adam's offer. He felt bad for sending his brother out there, but he seemed so sure of himself. It was almost like he needed this. Bryce would make an effort to spend these next three days with both Zelodide and Adam, before extending himself out to his other friends. They were his top priority right now and that wouldn't change.
It was difficult missing people when you were halfway across the world. If you were nearby, you could just drive there. But when he was in the war, the closest he could get to her was a phone call or a letter. That's it. He had to choose between hearing her voice for a few minutes, or reading her letters and imagining her when she was writing it. He listened to her speak again, nodding lightly, though he never took his eyes off of her. "It's more than amazing. It's happening," he said, recalling how it felt like just yesterday that he'd left home and now he was back again. Of course, while he was waiting it felt like forever. But now it felt like it had all happened so fast. He chuckled gently when she said that she couldn't stop smiling, because he could believe it, as she was smiling right now. He couldn't imagine a better way to come home than this. It didn't matter how they'd gotten here, just that this was it. As he stared back at her, he wanted nothing more than to tell her everything. He wanted to spill his guts about how he'd wanted to tell her on their first date, but he waited. He didn't want to jump the gun. It had been a long time, she might have someone else in her life now. Yeah, any minute now, another man would walk out of one of the rooms and give him a funny look for his cheesy grins. Any minute now.
Bryce wasn't one to ramble, in fact, he wasn't one to get nervous either. But when you put two and two together, he was pretty much one adorable mess. He was glad that she was good, even though he had a feeling that there was alot more behind that, but he had gone off on his tangent not too long after she continued again, about to give him a compliment. He didn't stop talking until after she grabbed his shirt, a brow wrinkling in confusion as she said his name, before feeling her lips pressing against his. All of his words seemed to escape him and he forget what he was saying as he kissed her back, his hands resting on her waist. So this was their first kiss... oh god, he was rusty. Was it good? Was he doing it wrong? No, no need to worry. He seemed to relax after a moment, just letting go of everything as his vision blurred in and out of focus. He closed his eyes, opening them only when she had pulled away. He reached up to touch his lips, a grin on them as he looked back at her. "That so?" he smiled back at her with a lightly teasing tone, feeling her take his rough hands in her own. He could still feel a tingling sensation from where she had kissed him, licking his lips to take in the remnants of her taste of her lip gloss. Mmm, strawberry?
He wasn't sure what else to say after that, still trying to catch his breath as he stood there. When she spoke again, breaking the silence, Bryce couldn't help but chuckle, just staring back at her as she repeated something she read in his letter. "You remembered," he said simply, though his eyes were softer as he looked at her. "Who can resist you? That's what I wanted to tell you... the night that I was taken away. I wanted to tell you that I think I've fallen for you." He laced their fingers together, standing before her, and it was noticable that he was taller than her. "I thought it was too soon, but I didn't get the chance to find out." He spoke slowly this time around, taking his time to try and get the right words out. He knew that he wouldn't remember them later. He was too focused on her expression, trying to see if he was bleeding all over her shoes for nothing, or if that kiss really was a window of opportunity. What else was a kiss for? It wasn't on the cheek. One kiss and he was addicted. She would have to try hard now to get him to stay away. Zelryce was alive and kicking, right here in her house. He wasn't too nervous though, he could feel her love in their kiss, but he wanted to be sure. Sometimes you needed to hear it. zelodide was a pretty surprising girl, you never knew whats he would do, she had even surprised herself by kissing bryce, but it was what she had always wanted to do. she had never shared a kiss like this before, and even though this wasn't her first kiss it felt like it. it was her first kiss that ever meant anything. did that count? she could feel the "sparks" that people swore they could feel when they had kissed "the one" she didn't believe in stuff like that until now. now that she was experiencing it herself, this was right. he was right, he was more than right he was perfectly righteously crazily right for her. bryce was right, this was happening. nothing had ever felt so real, she just wanted to pinch him, was this really real. then this kiss made her stop thinking about all the doubt going on in her head. however this just felt right, her lips pressed against his, his arms around her waist. this was picture perfect,a Kodak moment, yep this was definitely picture worthy. she had always loved him, and then he had been away for so long, she knew she had loved him because she never even thought of once giving up on him. there wasn't any other guy out there for her. she just hoped he felt this same, when she would back up form this kiss he wouldn't just stare at her in shock and be all "i - uh - gotta go" and run out would he? its not like he met some extremely good looking female draftee or volunteer at that camp, right? it couldn't be true. her mind was in bittersweet war right now, all the good thoughts clashing with the bad, but when she broke off the kiss and looked up at him. the look he gave her with his adorable light green eyes, the confidence began to build up in her again. she then told him he had talked way to much for his own good, which was true, but so did she. she thought it was cute of him actually. it showed that he wanted her to hear him out, and he had things to say to her. she never understood why people would date each other and never speak a word and just go off to sleep with each other and thats it. if you couldn't have a good conversation with the person you claimed as yours, was he or she really worth it? did they really care for you back? are you two even compatible. "yep." she smiled, biting down on her bottom lips softly, her lips tingling as if begging to be against his again.
she was speechless, trying to come up with things to say and then she had remembered what he had wrote in his letter. perfect! so she wouldn't look completely stupid right. what did he think? did he like it? did she kiss good? she almost forgot that she had lip gloss on until she saw how shiny his lips were now which made her giggle. she nodded when he told her she had remembered. she took pride in that, of course she did, who wouldn't. "of course i remembered. i remember everything you've told me. how could i forget?" she replied in a soft tone, her eyes in aww over him. she was just head over heels for this guy, and he didn't even know it...yet..she kept her hand in his as he continued to talk to her. she smiled, who could resist her? a lot of people, like deandre who she thought had gone out and cheated on her and he was all "i don't love you never had love you never will" and she had got all his clothes and threw them out and had kicked him out along with them. she didn't play when it came to that, she hated it when people would toy with her feelings. she continued listening, so there was something that he wanted to tell her, in his letter he had said it was probably stupid and it was nothing. when he had said those words 'fallen for you' her smile grew wide and she squeezed his hands lightly. " well that doesn't sound stupid." she teased him, speaking about his first letter he had wrote to her when he had told her it was. " and me too.." she said, deciding to be the bold one and just come on out and say it.
zels heart started to pick up that fast beat again, she was nervous. nervous because of what she was about to say. she didn't use these words to often. "yeah me too.." she said, deciding to say a little more until she got into that detail. " but no time is to soon for you, the sooner the better. losing you was just horrible." she told him looking into his eyes. okay, she was ready again, wait nos he wasn't. okay yes, yes she was. she stood there speechless, then she opened up her mouth to say. " .. i love you bryce, i've loved you since the moment i saw you no matter how corny that sounds its true." she giggled. "i'm so glad that your here, that this is happening." she had told him with a nod. she had kicked off her boots, deciding she didn't need to no longer wear them. she took his hands and walked back-wards leading him to the front of her bedroom door, she wasn't thinking of anything physical happening, she just found herself walking back-wards and pulling him along with her when she had expressed her feelings to him, when he back hit her bedroom door she smiled up at him, " please don't leave me.." she said softly, almost whispering it, she had wrapped her arms around his shoulders again and found her lips connected with his again.
zel wouldn't know what she would do if this thing came out to be bad. like if Adam got caught and they both got in trouble. she had jumped into his arms once more, the arms she couldn't keep out of breaking off the kiss she started to kiss him on the side of his face lightly and traveled down to his jaw line and a little pass it, "stay with me." she whispered against his skin.

If you love, I will love, run, I will run , - - - 'Til my last breath, so take it all, I doubt we'll notice .
Bryce admired Zelodide for being so brave, since she had been the first one to make a move. Not many women were that daring. But she had kissed him first, and he was pretty sure that she would tease him about it later, but he was the first to admit how he felt verbally. So they were even, right? He wasn't even sure anymore. He couldn't think. He was just happy, so ridiculously happy. He'd kissed other girls before, but nothing like this. He had never second thought himself or lost himself completely like that. It was almost dangerous the control that she had over him, how she took his breath away, and how he let her do all of that. He felt the electricity traveling up his strong arms as he held her and it was the best feeling in the world. How many people from the war were able to have something like this? Not many. Alot of people lost their relationships along with better aspects of themselves in the war. Some of them came back with ptsd or they were injured or deaf. He came back healthy as a horse, with a few scratches here and there, but nothing major. He'd only gone through basic training so far, so Adam wouldn't have missed much when he got back out there. Besides, Adam had always been a better shooter than him when their father took them camping and they would shoot at empty bottles. Bryce missed, but Adam always got them all and then some.
He stared back at her with a warm smile when she spoke, offering him a single worded reply. "But admit it, you like it," he retorted with a playful grin, his green eyes drawn to her lips as they were caught by her teeth, quite seductively. Or maybe he was reading too much into it. He could still taste her, but he knew better than to kiss her again. It would be too rushed and he didn't want to push her. They had a few things to talk about. Most of which he couldn't think of right now, still caught under the haze that came with their kiss. "Well, I wrote alot, so it's okay if you didn't. But... wow, you're just perfect, aren't you?" he said, not able to help himself, even if he didn't expect an answer. She would probably be modest and not take credit for it. But to him, she was amazing. She was everything he needed. After admitting his feelings, he felt his throat tighten up a bit and his mouth went dry, waiting for her reaction. His stomach twisted into knots and he was sure his legs would give out, but they didn't. "If you say so," he said with a sheepish smile, glancing down at the floor for a moment, before looking back up at her. Then he felt better as she mentioned that she felt the same. His smile only grew bigger as she continued, until he was pretty sure his cheeks would fall off, which would be bad, but cute anyway?
Bryce found himself messing with the corner of his bottom lip, but he tried not to make it too noticable. His hands were behind his back as he shifted his weight from one foot to another, waiting for her to continue. I mean, that couldn't be it, right? Unless she was waiting for him to elaborate. With how light-headed he felt right now, he wasn't sure that he would be able to. He nodded when she reassured him that it wasn't too soon, gulping a bit before he grinned to hide his anxiety. She was killing him with every second that went by, but he knew that the payoff would be greater than the wait. He opened his mouth to break the silence once he thought that it had lingered too long, but then she spoke, her words making him stare at her and blink a few times, completely starstruck. "I know how you feel, Zelodide... I-I love you too," he replied, though he knew that there was no going back now. He wasn't one of those guys that said something just to say it. He meant it. He didn't have the heart to lie to someone else. Everything that came from him was genuine. "Words can't express how happy I am right now... so before I make a fool out of myself, I'll just skip it." He was kidding, he knew that she wouldn't mind how silly he sounded, because when you were in love nothing was too silly.
He felt her leading him into another room and followed without hesitation, trying not to stumble over himself after their revelations. So they were in love. Everyone else had seen it. Why had it taken them so long? Oh well, it was here now. He hadn't been to her house very often before, just to pick her up, but he had a feeling that was her bedroom door. He remembered telling her how he wished he could just hold her and he had a feeling he'd get his wish. "I won't, I'll never leave you again," he said quietly as he stared back at her, feeling her pulling him closer before her lips met his again, kissing her back as he lost control of his thoughts again. He pulled away just enough to whisper against her lips, "I promise." He wasn't sure if he would be able to keep it, but he sure as hell would try. Now that he had found her, he wasn't going to lose her again. He felt her jump into his arms and he caught her, not letting her fall as they pushed against the door. He felt her lips traveling across his skin and he smirked, pressing a light kiss against her neck after brushing her hair behind her ear. "I've been gone for too long." zelodide laughed when he told her to admit it and that she actually liked it. oh yes, that was true. she loved hearing him speak, when she wasn't able to it just had hurt her so much. he could talk as much as he wanted for all she cared, it made her smile if anything. " i do. i love it actually. its so good to hear your voice, so you talk as much as you want, about anything." she said staring up into his eyes, the eyes she couldn't find herself to look away from. "i'll listen, and besides- you haven't heard me at my worst yet." she smirked, she could think of a few people that have. she shook her head when he mentioned it would be okay if she had forgotten a few things he's written. he just didn't know. she would continuously re-read his letters, especially on her bad days, and she's had them often. "well everything you have to write to me is special, even the little smiley faces i love so much." she teased him, the did use smiley faces back and forth and would tease each other about it. she smiled looking down when he called her perfect shaking her head, the looking back up at home. "no, not completely." she said, yes, being modest like he probably assumed she'd be. ha ha she wanted to be all "well i try" and give him a cute little grin, but that would sound sort of conceited. "but what about you, your amazing..pretty damn close to it." she said, she wouldn't be surprise if he were some angel in disguise. the truth was they both weren't perfect, no one was, everyone had their little flaws, but when it came down to it they were perfect for each other.
she smiled, noticing his cheeks change into a ore reddish color. ha, she knew what that meant. "of course i say so, that doesn't sound stupid at all." she smiled, thats when she had told him he was worth rushing things and everything and he blushed even more. "aww.." she smiled, placing a hand to the side of his face, "thats so cute." she laughed, she wasn't use to seeing people blush at all, so she thought it was adorable. she didn't mean to be so quiet, but she was speechless, everything was happening so fast t her, in reality it wasn't. they had waited so long to be with each other. she was just so happy this was finally happening. she didn't notice what he was doing out of his anxiety, but sooner than later she opened up her mouth to tell him her feelings. yeah. she was being pretty bold this morning. her eyes grew soft on him when he said that he knew how she felt. good! so she didn't just make a complete idiot of herself. she felt her heart skip a beat when he told her that he loved her too. so this was real, of course physically but emotionally. he was right there with her. so did this mean they were official? did they even have to ask each other. it seemed like they had to be if you asked her. hah, many people would say they've been official since their dates they went on, and they went on quite a few. "you don't know how good it is to hear that." she said, smiling up at him softly.
zel laughed at his next comment, "you wouldn't i'd love to hear it, anything you wanna say say it... i don't know why i didn't tell you this earlier, but it feels so good i let that off my chest now, you know. i love you and you love me back and thats what matters. zelryce is taking over the world." she said, something else he had wrote in his letters. she can quote anything from his letters in order, thats how much she had missed him. now she was leading him to another room and her back his against the door, she had asked him to not leave her. she smiled at his reply then she found her lips connected with his again, and then way he whispered against hers, it felt amazing. she believed him, everything he had just promised not to do, she'd believe him. she found herself in his arms again, kissing on the side of his face then whispering against his skin for him to stay with her. she smiled when he brushed her hair behind her ear, he did the cutest little things. they were so romantic to her. she closed her eyes lightly when she felt his soft kiss being placed against her neck, "way to long.." she added in. the way they where pushing against the door was so intense, she just felt like reaching behind her and turning the door knob so it would open.
zel looked at him, a small smirk on her face when she said, "so its zelryce day, its official." she laughed a little and added in, "so bryce, how shall we celebrate" she asked, her hands where around him and her face wasn't to far from his, leaning in to kiss him again she did, but this one wasn't to long as she just remembered she had asked him a question, "sorry, i cant keep off of you." she teased him. they had wrote back and forth and one thing mentioned in the letter that people should have a stupid day and when he came back that day would be marked as theirs, as zelryce day, so she had to bring it up, it just crossed her mind actually.
