ear locked her limbs in place. Her fragile state of mind not comprehending what she was being told, it wasn’t until she was left alone in the utter silence of her house that reality slapped her across the face. Her knees buckled under her and she feel to the floor in a daze, not sure yet what to come by this. Every part of her had been anticipating this, the return of her father yet somehow she could not wrap hr head around what the police man had just said. He had come back yes, but her mother was dead. All those long years of running, of not facing the man who was now the source of her worst dreams her only dreams. Around her everything seemed to go in slow motion, her fragile mind not yet being able to keep up with the disaster her life had just turned into. She was suffocating and no one could stop it. She was slowly being dragged down into the depth of a thick dark ocean. Her breathing stopped, the world slowly started to slip away from her. Black spots smeared her vision as she was pulled into the deepest part of the water, into total blackness, not feeling or seeing just there. Luca shop up in bead her breathing coming deeply. She was covered in sweat, twisted in her blanket but none of that bothered her, the sense that she was being watched did. Luca looked are the darkness of her room, the room that had once been her mothers. This bothered her even more as her memories eased through her head, the memories she had pushed away over the past two years. Untwisting herself from the mess of her blankets she wondered why that was, she had been improving or so she thought. luca walked over to her balcony doors and looked down into the darkness that covered her street. It was three in the morning, too early to get ready for school and she just couldn’t sleep any more. She knew if she tried she could but it was too risky, her nightmares had returned which meant if anyone found out she would have to start with the pills again. Luca would not return to that stage in her life, she had done the pills and the nightmares had stopped it had been almost a year and she wasn’t going to start again. A movement in the dark street caught the corner of her eye her head snapped in the direction almost as if she had been expecting it. She sighed slightly when she saw a black cat come out from its hiding place behind the bush and turned to look at her dark room. Luca didn’t know what to do with herself for the hours she had left but shed have to think of something grabbing her purse she made her way to sit out on her balcony. Grabbing her smokes she grabbed one lit it and took a long drag. Luca never use to smoke, it wasn’t until recently that she started, right around the time that the nightmares started returning, it seemed to calm her down enough to get her head on reality. Leaning on the banister she took another drag of her cigarette. She was cold, it was September, not the coldest but not summer. And luca well she just tended to always be cold, not to mention she was wearing a pair of small shorts and a long sleeve. another movement in the darkness distracted her, something was there she knew it. Butting out her cigarette she made her way back into her room to put something warmer on, she was going to go down and check it out. In most movies your suppose to run away from the spooky thing in the darkness but this wasn’t a movie and she just wasn’t that fragile, in theory. Grabbing her yellow skinny jeans she pulled those on and a grey long sleeve shirt. She pulled on a pair of converse putting her cell phone in one of her pockets alone with her cigarettes and in the other pocket her lighter and wallet then she made her way out of her room and into the hallway. When her parents were alive it was much easier to sneak out, though her grandmother was a lot older she had very good senses so Luca had to be extra careful. Once she was downstairs it was easier but it was getting past her grandmothers room to get to the stairs. She slowly mad her way towards the stairs, she had this hall memorized, it was an old house so some of the floorboards creaked, and she knew where they were. Making it to the stairs she walked down, they were the newer part of the house and pure white marble so there was nothing to creak. She made it out the front door and into the dark street. luca made her way towards the other side of the street where she saw the movement. She wasn’t exactly sure if this was the best idea. She knew that it could be the one person she feared would come back, would find her, she knew he went to London first but it was easy to track her down. She knew he’d think she officially changed her name to her nickname but she just needed to find out herself. She seemed to be moving slower and even quieter than she had getting past her grandmothers room. Her hair was slightly blowing in the soft breeze, she was biting down on her bottom lip and she knew that the street light eliminated her yellow skinny jeans. She could hear someone or something moving in the shadows and she didn’t necessarily want to go look but she had to find out. The bad part about this is there is a lot of shadow on her street, the houses being big and beautiful and well the yards were the same. She leapt onto the figure in the push planning to pin them down. Maybe this was the day her father would finally finish his job, she had been having the dreams, she had the feeling someone was here an it just seemed like it was something that she no longer could run from but the person underneath her surprised her even more than her father would have. she was straddling a boy, one she knew quite well or use to, she had him pinned underneath her confusion, anger and a bit of amusement clouding over the fair features of her face. His hair was the same reddish orange color she remembered from two years ago. But he had defiantly outgrown the tall and lanky boy he had been the last time she had seen him. From what she recalled of the conversation they had not too long ago he was in London, which brought the anger back to her face, it wasn’t that she was angry with him being here, she had wanted to see him for so long it was the fact he had not told her and he had run away from his duties. I mean he did have a lot of them; he was the British prince for Christ sake. She looked around making sure no one had heard them go down then looked back at him “what are you doing here” her outraged whisper coming out quiet and stern. She looked over him again, finally giving herself the time to see what he looked like after these long years. A blush slowly creeped up to her cheeks, hoping it was too dark for him to see that she composed her face into a mask of shock but couldn’t help but be happy. He had been her best friend for so long when they both lived in London and he was here, but the question that slowly took more of her focus was why.

you stare politely right on through, and i know how to save a life. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
london was the place that people loved, and sure it was great for a while. specially at the palace where you had maids, and butlers and everything you wanted. or at least that's what they advertised on television. dante knew better than that because he had been behind those doors of the palace since he was born and hated it there. he couldn't live with all the ordering around. they were real family to the world on the interviews but in reality dante never played any sports or did anything with his father like they bragged about on television. when he went to public school he felt slightly free to be himself, and then it was all taken away from him by one screw up. to the world it was seem like he couldn't handle it because of his attitude but in reality his parents didn't like him being around normal people and becoming uncontrollable as they said. he liked making people laugh, but laughing wasn't something he was suppose to be doing a prince, and well he didn't want it anymore.
dante managed to slip his guards and took a plane to the states were he let his hair grew out. he came to virginia after investigating the were abouts the girl he had once knew before he was withdrawn from public school. he kept in contact with her from time to time but he couldn't bear to be away from her because they were friends and he knew most of the stuff. though he didn't force her to talk about it at all. he came to virginia and had been living on the streets until he ran into a woman that somehow he just managed to form a bond with. she was basically more of a mother than he ever had and well gay or not her girlfriend was his second mother to. he knew he stood taller than both by a few inches but still he looked up to them as parental figures more than anything. though now that andrea had come out of the war he didn't know what to really do. he wanted to let them spend time together so he found something to do with his time like stalk clea.
he was in his room before changing into more comfortable clothing and heading out. he had gotten the address of her house from her ip. it was the main reason he talked to her, and left without saying much of anything to her. he knew he might be murder when she found out she was in america but none the less. he couldn't help but go to eventually see her knowing he adored her brother because of his adorable style though it seemed he tried to be like dante for more than his own good. walking down the street dante slid his hands into his pockets as he walked down the sidewalk to wards the street number. he knew war had turned the states into a place of poverty but none the less dante still loved it. he wasn't going to be in the war at least just not yet because of his age. it was also the fact that by then they would have found him and royalty isn't allowed into the army because of the blood line issue.
he had a older brother that didn't know his ass from a hole in the ground but none the less a brother. his parents were afraid that with daniel in the thrown the country would be done for and he already made a name for himself as the royal idiot. dante however was the royal goof that knew more about politics than his older brother, which made him look bad to a point. luca, luca, luca the girl had caught dante's interest fromt he beginning because mainly she was just cute, and funny. despite that girls hate cooties and everything back then. he still liked her and always have. she was his one true friend and he knew that all the information he dug up was something he wasn't just openly gonna talk to her about because it had to her hurtful. it was good having money but he doubted that she wanted him to know so he refused to bring up the topic knowing it was clearly none of his business.
reaching the address he wasn't sure what exactly he was gonna do knowing the time and it probably was wrong of him to basically stalk her. but none the less he just wanted tos ee her knowing that he was close. hiding in the shadows of her house probably wasn't the best idea but it seemed like a good idea. hearing something he looked but didn't see anything until he felt someone straddling him to the ground. looking up he saw the beautiful girl from his picture a few years back. " well, this is a comfortable position." looking up at her face, she had grown into her body very nicely. though he could see that she was wearing the yellow pants and lightly laughed to himself before pushing the girl off of him, and sitting up slowly shaking his red ginger hair from side to side. "well, i was in the neighborhood and decided why not come and stalk you."
