"jenkins, get your ass up." andrew opened his eyes slowly before releazing he was laying on the floor of his room with beer cans laying around him. slowly pulling his body up onto his feet he leaned against the wall for balance before seeing one of his members from his unit lay a letter on his bed. rubbing his eyes andrew slowly dragged his lifeless body to his assigned bed, and picked up the letter in his hands. he slowly turned it to the back and ripped the back of it before pulling out the letter of leave. he didn't understand how that was even possible knowing that he had been to the board many many times before, but now that his drinking binge seemed to be effecting his work ethics they agreed to send him home. he sat the letter on his bed before running his hand through his hair knowing that he had messed things up to the point of no returned. he loved alaska, and he knew she was the one for him. but now he had screwed it up with his drinking habit. he moved off his bed and folded the letter before sliding it into his back pocket. he knew his ride would leave in a few hour but he had to get packed, and have at least one last meal with his unit before he left.
he headed outside of the sleeping quaters and headed into the mess hall and sat at his table with his unit. he told them that he was leaving, and most of them weren't suprised. andrew wasn't stable in there eyes specially knowing he was still bit of a kid in side. in his mind that was the problem with bring people into the army without them wanting to go. yes it was needed but to andrew it seemed like a waste of money mostly, and just a waste of his time. he knew that he never was gonna have enough for college that was sure, but he spend all his money on a house, and to send alaska to college so she didn't have to get drafted. he knew her parents would pay for it if she would leave andrew, but for some reason she didn't. now that andrew was sober he knew he was a bit of an asshole, and wanted to be the old andrew he was with her. he was excited to be a father more than anything. he hugged everyone and shaked hands with his commanders and apologized for his slaziness. they simply told him that they understand the fear of dying because of someone you love, and all that stuff. heading back to his quaters he packed his stuff.
once he was done packing he slung his back strap over his arm before heading out to the car that would drive him to the airport. he got into the car and waved good bye to the people who were stronger than him and would stay and fight for there country. andrew had to fight for something more, and knew that he would rather be with alaska knowing that it wasn't right to make her go through it this much alone. he hated himself mostly becaues he was an asshole and a jerk and everything her parents ever said about him. he couldn't keep it in his pants and he didn't know what she stayed with him. in the car ride to the airport andrew just laid his head against the glass window and sleep for a little while before he got onto the plan. he was flying back to an airport close to his hometown, but he still had to drive a little way. he was in his military clothes still knowing that he wasn't able to change and heading to the rent a car place the business lady smile, and thanked him on serveral occasions for defeating the county.
nodding lightly he took the keys and moved to his rented out car before throwing his bag in the back of it and driving. he remembered his way around the town easy, and his finding his house wasn't as hard as he orginally thought it was gonna be. reaching it he parked on the curb before breathing lightly then getting out of the car, and grabbing his bag. he headed to the front door, and knocked on the door. he didn't tell alaska he was coming home knowing he wasn't suppose to but was glad to be home.

----- kissing her mother on the cheek as they were saying their goodbyes for the day, though Alaska would probably here from her and her dad later on today. She had recently got in contact with them after a year or two, and they were thrilled to hear her last news. Buckling up her seat belt, she smiled at the joke her mom tried to make funny as she stood beside her. Leaning back in the car she turned and looked at her, making a small comment that she should stick to her day job. The two had just had an early brunch, and the eight month pregnant was exhausted. She wanted nothing more to go back to her house, and lie down in the comfortable bed she use to share with Andrew before he went off to the army. Just thinking about him made her roll her eyes, and he was the main reason why she had contacted her family. They was ecstatic to know that they were breaking things off, and Alaska wanted to avoid any confrontation with him and was planning on moving ASAP. Her dad was looking for a nice apartment, way from Allistair Lane. Her parents were wealthy but pretty much disowned her for being what they thought were trailer trash. So her dad was searching for something nice for herself and her baby boy. Alaska had no problem with that.
----- putting her key into the ignition her mom shut her door. "I'll call you later on today," promising that was easy enough. Alaska drove off, heading home, trying not to think of the argument she and Andrew had. It was sad enough, and really pointless. Alaska was just tried of having to do everything by herself, and took the last straw. Her and her parents weren't talking then, and she had to go to the doctor alone, find out the sex alone, everything. It was just emotional for her, or maybe she was being melodramatic all at the same time. She just didn't plan to have a verbal altercation with him. He didn't seem to care either, so why should she? Why should she stick around and be faithful to a guy who wasn't. Probably a drunk again, something that bothered her to an intent. Alaska loved him, but did she love him enough when he basically told her he cheated on her. So ever since she thought about why she was still him, she just didn't know anymore. Love wasn't enough. She needed support, trust, something they didn't have. Alaska told him it was because of the sex, which was great. She loved him, she couldn't just bring herself to actually end things with him. When they fought she was always thinking about what he was going to do, who he was going to do it with...would he end it with her completely? Those were the normal thoughts she thought, but this time she was just wanting to get away. Alaska didn't expect him home until after she gave birth, and she figured that was more than enough time to have her things moved out and gone.
----- parking her car in the the parking lot, she grabbed her things from her passenger seat. Taking her time getting out, she rested a hand on back, and grabbed her out keys out a knock off designer purse. Her family was rich, but she wasn't. Andrew paid for her to go to school, which she figured would stop since she was moving on with her life, or tying to. Alaska was positive her family would take care of her. Walking inside she sat her things down, and headed straight back to the bedroom so she can change out of her clothes. They were pregnancy clothes she went shopping for with some of her friends. She change in comfortable aerie sweet dot boxer, and an extra large cami...the only thing she ever really felt comfortable in during her pregnancy. Putting on long gray socks, and put her brown Latino hair up into a ponytail. She was going to try to get the stuff she hasn't packed, packed up today. Every time she started packing something would bring back memories, she'll start crying, being the emotional pregnant woman that she was, and end up saying she do it later. Overall, all she had packed was two suitcases of clothes. None of her material things. Alaska just didn't want to believe it was actually over, but it was. Just thinking about it brought tears to her eyes.
----- her mom had provided her with boxes for her to use to pack her things up, and she had yet to use them. They laid around the front room, sitting on top of one another. Going back to the living room she turned on some music, and tried to get started on packing her things up. Her parents volunteered to help, well her mom volunteered her dad to help. She was the type of woman that didn't want to be down in Allister Lane. It was "ghetto" and a lot more rude and absurd things she would say. She did offer to help her get things going in her own place. She declined on both offers, now wishing she didn't. Alaska should have been resting, she was weeks away from her due date. Though she was eight months pregnant, she always thought she would have her baby soon. It was something that ran through their family. She just wanted to have the baby already and get that over with. Alaska was the type of girl that thought the worse, and asked the doctor a lot of crazy things. Like if the baby could claw at one of her organs, making her bleed internally. Alaska told her friends all these crazy what ifs, and ended up asking her doctor every time she went in for a check up. Something she wished her baby daddy could be there for, but no. Sighing she collected her dvds, and started carefully in a box. Trying not to thing of the movies they watched together, but ended up the two of them having sex. Singing softly along with the radio, hearing someone at the door. Putting the movies down she went to go turn the radio down before answering the door. Not even paying attention that she was wearing her boxers. Blinking as she opened the door, appalled, happy, pissed. Holding onto her pregnant belly she sifted her weight on her feet, just staring. He wasn't suppose to be home. She was packing, leaving... What was he doing there? All those thoughts ran through her mind. Even though she had every intent on leaving she couldn't help but jump in his arms, grab his face with both of her hands and kiss him hungrily. "Baby," she finally said pulling back. Happy he was there, but then again not. She didn't want any confrontation about her leaving. Alaska just moved aside so he could come in.

jerk, ass, drunk, cheater, trail trash, worthless everything was what andrew was. her parents were right, and he knew it more than anything. he knew being drunk wasn't an excuse but he was actually scared that he might loose his girlfriend forever. he knew that she had every right to leave him but yet he didn't want her to. he missed holding her, and just being with her. he knew he probably screwed things up to the point of no return but none the less he couldn't help but thing what if he hadn't gone to the war. would things be better, he would think so knowing that he loved her and it wasn't until he began drinking did he change. he knew that he couldn't hold drinking accountable for all his actions but some of them were just out of loneliness and needs. arriving at the house he wasn't sure exactly what he was gonna say or do knowing that her reaction may cause many things. he knew that he told himself he wouldn't be upset if she left him, but he had to be strong because of his son. he had to start acting like a father, and not be like his dad.
as she opened the door he couldn't tell exactly what she was feeling, but smiled when he saw her stomach that was carrying their son. it wasn't just a one way progress like he had thought many years ago, or had a couple nights ago when he was wasted to the point of no return. feeling her lips on his he kissed her back knowing that it was gonna be something he missed. he missed it for the last couple months. moving inside the house he saw some of her things were gone, and probably at her parents. he read there conversation while he was on the plane and knew that something like this would happen. though he wasn't gonna loose her without a fight. setting the bag on the floor he turned around and looked at the girl who was standing before him. looking down to the floor, he didn't know exactly what to say knowing he wasn't usually one to stumble on words. "i'm sorry, about everything. and i do want to be apart of my sons life. but," he looked back up into her eyes and shook his hair lightly out of his eyes. "i don't want to be my father and loose someone i love because of drinking." he knew that drinking was something andrew hated about his father more than anything.
his past wasn't something he was to open about but he knew alaska knew most of it. his father basically was a dead beat drunk that drank away his life to the point of no return. he left andrew's mother poor, and whenever he was drunk would go on a rampage and 'disciplined' andrew for something he never did. andrew was more of a shut off kid until high school when he got into a fight with his father and someone called the cops. he was arrested, and well since then things changed for the better. from then on out he began to turn into his father with the habit of drink and partying. that was until he met alaska. when he met her his whole life changed, and he stopped everything, and it was that way for a while until he was drafted. her parents doubted he would ever changed and now they had the victory of saying they were right and rubbing it in his face over and over again. but now instead of just loosing his girlfriend he loved, he was loosing his son also that he had the most beautiful mother. she was a strong woman but he knew that no one should have to go through child birth alone, and maybe if andrew tried harder things wouldn't have ever gone to the point of her walking out the door of their house.
looking at the woman before him he rested his hand on her stomach and looked into her eyes. smiling as the baby instead her kicked, he looked up at her knowing she felt it to. leaving his hand to rest on the stomach he kissed her lightly on the lips again before pulling back and looking at her. "i never meant for any of this to happen, and i want you to know that i do love you. but i doubt it means anything now."

----- alaska stood there not knowing what to do. She was seeing her boyfriend, who was pretty much like her husband for the first time in a long time. He looked great in his army uniforms you would see on tv, and his hair was still pretty long, but not too long. She was shocked they didn't make him re-cut it. Pushing his hair thoughts aside she just couldn't believe he was here. Happy, yes she was. He was safe and home...his home. The place would no longer be hers, theirs soon. She just figured she would be gone before he actually arrived. She hadn't even had the baby, she expected it to be weeks. Alaska wanted to be upset with him for coming home so soon just after the fact that they argued that he wouldn't be there for the birth of their child. Not being there would make her hate him more. She loved, loves him, it was just easy to be pissed at him when she was pregnant. She had to do everything alone, and she simply blamed that on his. Alaska wanted to be long gone, to a place were he couldn't just pop up. She never seemed to be that lucky. No matter how much she disliked him at the moment, she would have to let him see his child every once in a while. That was easier said than actually done. Her parents just wanted her to leave him, and no regrets. Also easier said than done. Packing up was her first step to admitting that they were finally over. She needed it, but here he was. Back. Gah she wanted this so badly, but now all she wanted was to wish this was a bad dream that she could wake up very soon. No, he was actually standing there in front of her, actually back in town. Alaska was going to go through with moving, she was determined, but she was more than happy he was here...with her.
----- as he kissed her back she felt a little relief go through her. Why? Maybe because Alaska thought that he would want nothing to do with her. That they would be over, and he would want her out. He had left the IM so abruptly, she had to think the rest. Made her think it was actually over. Going inside she watched him intensively. He eyed the place, she knew that he knew what was going on with her. That she was moving. He had to know since some of her things were already gone, and they were many boxes. Someone in that house would be moving, and it wasn't him. He was the one that paid for it, she simple couldn't kick him out his place. Frowning she that he was looking at the floor and not her. He owed her that much to actually look her in the eye, then down at the floor. The carpet had done nothing wrong. Sighing she pushed her brunette hair out her face and went back over to the box she was putting her movies in. "You will and can be apart of your sons life," looking over at him, he was finally looking at her. "Apart of my life, that's a different story," she muttered quietly closing and taping the box up. Sitting it aside, wanting to focus on him...not wanting to seem like she was running away from him or anything. So Alaska just walked back over to the place she was standing, but leaned against the wall. She had been on her feet most of the day, so needed the extra support. "Then stop drinking Andrew!" this seem like deja vu. He had been a drunk pretty much the first time she met the guy.
----- when she first met him she had to admit that she despised him. It was shocking because now she was so much in love with him. He was a football player and herself was a cheerleader. Even figured they would just click, but Alaska didn't want to be anywhere near him. Herself was so different then he was. He was raised up in a poor family, and his dad was a drunk. Alaska herself was raised from old money. He was a party animal, and just completely different from her. Alaska was the good girl type, did everything as she was told. Doing good in school, extra curricular activities, the perfect daughter. She avoided Andrew any chance she got, but one day it just happened, they talked. Well when he wasn't around his friends and drunk he was pretty cool. Then she started hanging around him, even if he did drink, and before she knew it they were dating, and he was slowly changing. Alaska fell in love with him in no time, and her parents did not approve. They gotten really close and he even told her things about his family that other people didn't know. Like how his dad was a drunk and left them, that just made her fall in love with him more. He was a emotionally a strong person. Sooner or later it was either him or them. Wanting to fell out her shell she picked Andrew. Everything just went so quickly her life seemed like a soap opera, because not to long after he bought a house and paid for her college tuition. Then was going off to war, and she found out she was pregnant.
----- she wanted to move away from him, and she had every intention to but their son kicked, and she grinned. He usually kicked during the nights, kept her up at all hours, or when he wanted her to eat something. It was too early for him to be kicking, and she just ate, so she was shocked. A smile came to her face. Placing her hand over his, she kissed him back. It was short and quick, and maybe brought her to her senses. Stepping back so he wasn't touching her she let out a deep breath, she needed him to not touch her. He wouldn't be able to think if he did. "It use to be enough, but now..." trailing off she looked around. "I love you Andrew, but I can't have my son around someone who is a drunk who can't keep his penis in his pants."

you stare politely right on through, and i know how to save a life. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
his hair was something he usually refused to cut but being in the military he was forced to cut most if not all of it off. though after a while they let him grow it out knowing with the rate he was going he would soon enough be shipped home anyway. it was shorter than usual but he gave it a few more weeks before it was back to it's usual length. he knew that he was the blame for his situation knowing that it wasn't gonna get any better. it was just gonna get worse specially if he couldn't think of a way to make her stay with him. he did truly and absolutely love her but it was just that he had messed things up. her parents were something he pretty much hated because they were the main source of trying to pull them apart. he knew that they weren't to blame, and well he sort of wished they were this time around. he wasn't sure how he would truly react if she did move on with their son. sure he could live with seeing his son every week or so but seeing her with someone else would kill him. he knew he wouldn't be able to stand it, and would eventually have a break down.
he knew that if he actually looked at her he would feel even worse, and more guilty about what he had said before. he knew he felt already guilty enough for leaving so quick. but he in all honestly really didn't remember much of it but the fact that he wanted nothing to do with her. that was one of the biggest lies he had ever said, and well he wasn't sure all what to do now. some of the guys in his unit tried to help but he didn't know what to really think so instead he went to some of the woman. he talked to them and they said just to go home and tell her everything. they also suggested him trying to change back to the old andrew knowing that he had come from war but she deserved the andrew jenkins he was before despite e everything that happened in there unit which wasn't very much since he always was just stationed at base most of the time. watching her go and pack up the movies he laughed lightly knowing together they had some great times with each other while watching movies though usually it never ended up getting watched. following her with his eyes, he shook his head lightly. "i want to be apart of your life alaska, and my sons. i want to have a family and do all the things we talked about before i left. i want you to be mrs. alaska jenkins." knowing drinking was something he always had a problem with he never stopped just cut it down for a little bit and eventually stopped when him and alaska were more serious about a relationship. "i will, if it will keep you in my life." he knew that is just seemed like they had gone through this once before but now there was another key element in there relationship. a baby, their baby.
a television series always had twist and turns, and well it was no different for andrew's relationship with alaska it seemed. he was the drunk football player that could get anything he wanted and she was the uptight rich girl that didn't know anything about what him and some of his friends did. eventually boy meets girl, falls in love, and changes. but the twist of the story is after boy changes for girl he is sent away to war and girl finds out she is pregnant with boys son. though in a television series more than likely boy would end up happy girl. andrew just couldn't see alaska ever taking him back after everything he put her through. yes he loved her more than anything in the word but he knew he screwed up big time. he knew her parents never liked him because of his past, and the fact he was a drinking addict. he wasn't sure all what he was gonna do for money now that he was back, though he did have a chance of football considering his age, and record.
feeling his son kick was something he had wanted to feel for a while. it was also just the inspiration that it was real, and none the less his son. he had to become the perfect husband, and father eventually and well he wanted his life with alaska not anyone else. looking at her for a moment, he bit the inside of his lip before reaching into his pocket, and pulling out a box. " all i'm asking for is one more chance. i know i screwed up and i'm sorry, but i want you to be the one i die old with, and have a family with." opening the box was a his grandmothers ring that his mother was supposed to be wearing but gave back to when his father left. it was a beautiful ring all and all and well he wanted alaska to wear it. getting down on one knee he looked up at her, "i know i'm not the perfect boyfriend, or the perfect father but i want to be those with you forever. i want to change for you. will you alaska celica winchester marry me, and be mrs. alaska celica jenkins?" he wasn't sure how he would react if she said no, he knew it probably wasn't the right moment but he rather get it over with instead of loosing her.
